Audemars Piguet White Gold Royal Oak Watch The dial of the refreshed model has a light blue icy hue.
The reason why classics are so enduring is that they are always mature for reinventing, and the best things can be made better only with a little modification. Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak is an example of this, and its latest surprise revision is simply golden.
This iconic timepiece was put on the website of the Swiss brand this week. It is considered one of the best timepieces of the past few decades and is now available in a limited edition 18K white gold version. Its silver body retains all the iconic faceted elements of its predecessor and is made of precious metals. The 38mm case surrounds the company's iconic textured Grande Tapisserie dial, with a sky blue surface and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. This is in harmony with the second track and the tonal blue ring around each sub-dial, which improves readability at a glance. Of course, luminous hands and time markers under luminous conditions also help improve readability.
